If your business is expanding, this may even be enough to avoid, or at least defer, the cost and disruption of property relocation. There are alternative methods of creating this additional space. At Apex Linvar, we will work with you to understand your operational requirements, before putting forward a solution that best suits your circumstances. Not only will we design and install your multi-tier structure, we can provide all of the necessary services; such as fire detection, sprinklers, light and power.
Multi Tier Shelving
Many businesses will fit a mezzanine floor with the intention of having shelving above and below the floor. A more cost effective solution is to use the multi-tier shelf structure as both the storage solution and for creating walkways.
Oversailing Floor
Using a suitable rack structure, it is possible to lay a floor deck across the top of conventional pallet racking, which creates an open space (resembling a conventional mezzanine floor), for people to work on, or again subject to the suitability of the structure, fitting bays of shelves to create a small part storage/pick area.
In-Rack Floor
Using the same type of posts and beams as you would find in an adjustable pallet rack structure, it is possible to use them to create a series of floors and pick locations, to create a high density picking solution.
Mezzanine Floor
Generally a standalone structure, of one or more levels; these floors can be used to create very large open work spaces.
